Add configurable digital inputs and outputs through I2C with this SX1509 breakout. Beyond basic pin control, the expander generates PWM and timed LED effects. Its keypad engine can scan an eight-by-eight button matrix, giving a host several ways to expand controls or indicators while using a small bus connection.
