Explore a wired sensor-network link using the MicroMod Single Pair Ethernet Function Board. Its ADIN1110 transceiver brings 10BASE-T1L networking to a compatible MicroMod system through an SPI host connection. This is useful for comparing a wired telemetry network with wireless alternatives, especially when teaching cable planning and network topology. The board is a function module in a larger system: the processor, carrier, cable and other endpoint must be selected together for a working demonstration.
Before you buy
Provide a compatible MicroMod carrier and processor plus a suitable single-pair Ethernet peer. Do not assume an ordinary RJ-45 Ethernet connection is interchangeable.
