Use the full-size RedBoard Artemis when you want the Artemis platform with an Uno R3 footprint and more accessible I/O than the Nano. It supports projects that combine several sensor buses, PWM outputs and wireless experimentation. A robotics lesson can allocate separate buses to perception and user input, then examine how the control loop handles those readings. The larger board is a practical bench platform before committing to a compact installation; shield fit and electrical compatibility still require individual checks.
Before you buy
Review each shield's voltage and pin requirements. The Uno-shaped footprint alone does not establish compatibility with every Arduino accessory.
