The European version of this LoRaWAN kit supports lessons in distributed sensing using the EU868 regional band. Its gateway, IoT node and environmental board let learners examine the full path from a physical measurement to a networked application. Compare transmission intervals, message size and gateway placement rather than assuming radio coverage from a specification alone. This regional package must retain its own SKU and offer; it should not be merged into the North American kit merely because the names and headline price are similar.

Confirm EU868 is appropriate for the intended location. Review the X-ON trial and later connectivity costs, plus the current stock status, before classroom procurement.
