Digitize a K-type thermocouple with this MAX31855K breakout. The converter provides a serial interface compatible with SPI, allowing a host to read temperature information rather than directly measuring the thermocouple’s small voltage. Its hot- and cold-junction handling supplies a building block for embedded experiments using a suitable external temperature probe.
