Add soil-condition feedback to an agricultural robotics experiment with the capacitive Qwiic moisture sensor. Its embedded sensing plate avoids exposed sensing electrodes, while the printed ruler helps keep insertion depth consistent between measurements. A useful lesson compares readings from the same soil at different depths before choosing a watering threshold. The output needs calibration for the actual medium and installation; a raw sensor value should not be presented as a universal moisture percentage.
